“My first love has always been teaching, and I am blessed with the opportunity to serve my community. My family and I are members of Faith Christian Fellowship, where I serve on the hospitality committee. My goal is to serve the communities and give parents peace of mind while they leave their children in our care.”
At Fresh Start Early Learning Center, we provide childcare for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Our Abeka curriculum is Maryland State Department of Education approved, and our staff members are state-credentialed at Level 3 or higher, and they continue their education and training yearly. Our schools are oriented to children and families, and we work with students at the individual level to address their needs and learning levels.
We actively promote an inclusive practice to meet best the needs of children, families, and staff. All children are welcome, and we embrace everyone with a positive attitude. When necessary, we will provide modifications and adaptations to help all children achieve success in our program. We welcome all children who have Individual Education Planning or similar programs.
Fresh Start Early Learning Center supports all children with a disability or a child with special health care needs by modifying lessons or activities to ensure all children are included. We will assist parents in obtaining additional help and resources when required. All information is kept confidential.
We provide year-round services, including summer camps. Children receive free nutritious meals at our center that follow the Maryland childcare food program, including breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. We also provide infant food and formula.
